Pathway Grafitti Night of Worship

The church sanctuary was due to be painted and so we had a grafitti night and coated the walls with spray paint and sharpie marker prayers, praises, and well...you'll see...

Chloe: "It's a house and it's raining..."

This was Chloe's masterpiece...First of all notice her copying Hanks letters at top of Psalm 23...
Her letters look like helepbethme...
Then to the right of that...the big circle is a pizza...and at the bottom she wrote "bizzahutchloe" (pizza hut + chloe)and a series of random "chloe words" (whatever letters she thinks of, strung together...)
Maybe she's thankful to God for Pizza Hut???

I actually stayed home with Emma that night, but took the pictures on Sunday...From what I heard, they had to quit early because the fumes were getting a little strong....teehee...

I finally got fed up with chloe's hair constantly in her face... so I cut her bangs!

I think she looks so adorable. It really accentuates her beautiful face...

This was the night of Summer's graduation and all the mayhem...Emma had had quite enough of it all.

My dad loves to play the mandolin...he taught himself to play by playing along with bluegrass/country music.

a day full of surprises...

Graduation Day!!!

9 AM...We told Summer that we we wanted to have a big family breakfast for her last morning with us, so after 3 wake up calls, she finally arose....As she was walking into the kitchen...

First surprise...

Knock Knock...Who's at the door Summer?????

PAW PAW!!!!

She had no idea he was coming...I had called him a few nights previous when we learned that her father would not be coming...and he made arrangements to fly here all the way from Texas to surprise her!

Then, we were throwing Summer and Morgan a pre-graduation party out at the Big Griggs. It was a wonderful party with everyone that they love attending...The food was incredible...everyone pitched in and made it so special for them.

Summer knew her Mom, aunt and grandmother were coming, but they had a surprise up their sleeve...

MY LITTLE BROTHER!!!! (yeah, little....that's funny...)

April worked it so that Jesse could come and surprise Summer... It was AWESOME!







Third Surprise... well... I am editing this part (it is now 2007)and as per Summer's request, I have had to remove this part of the story...This surprise involves her future husband and some plans for him...
At the risk of spoiling the surprise, now that she is of marrying age, we decided it would be better to just leave this part out. Any curious cats can just ask me and I will tell you the story privately!!! And someday, when she is good and married, I will put the pics and story back up!

the big five...

We celebrated Chloe's 5th birthday on May 15th! I can't believe she's FIVE!!!

We had Jon and Noelle over for dinner and had (per Chloe's request) and I quote..."I want Chicken Alfredo with the RIGHT kind of noodles!!!"

This meant real fettucine noodles rather than the bowtie pasta I normally use... Is she her mother's daughter or what??? :D
