wow!

We have a new baby!
I wanted to give it a day before I posted about Emma, so that I could truly see the change...
I'm telling you guys, that we have a NEW baby here! REALLY!
She is so peaceful and calm and happy, that everyone around here is amazed.
She slept for 6 hours straight last night!
Now, don't get me wrong, she still cries, she is a baby after all; but even her cry is different...
It's not a panicked screech full of pain...more of a fussy, pick-me-up, change me, feed me cry...
so gentle and sweet!
Those that joined us here in prayer and worship had a wonderful, beautiful time. And it was so incredible knowing that everyone else was in agreement at the same time!
We sang several songs from my Kathryn Scott CD "Satisfy"
Anyone who loves to worship, you HAVE to get this CD...
I embeded one of the songs on the blog, so hopefully it is playing now as you are reading...
It is about praising Him when things are good AND when things are bad...
I am going to write out the words at the bottom of this post...
ANYWAY!!!
I really am SO grateful for all the prayers, and MUST give glory where it is due:
David says:
O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

In
Mar 5:23
Mark says:
And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: [I pray thee], come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

JESUS says:
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

BLESSED BE YOUR NAME

Blessed be your name

In the land that is plentiful

Where the streams of abundance flow

Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name

When I'm found in the desert place

Though I walk through the wilderness

Blessed be your name

Every blessing you pour out,

I turn back to praise

When the darkness closes in, Lord

Still I will say...

Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your glorious name

Blessed be your name

When the sun's shining down on me

When the world's all as it should be

Blessed be your name

Blessed be your name

On the road marked with suffering

Though there's pain in the offering

Blessed be your name
Every blessing you pour out,

I turn back to praise

When the darkness closes in, Lord

Still I will say...

Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your name

Blessed be the name of the Lord Blessed be your glorious name

You give and take away

You give and take away

My heart will choose to say

Lord, Blessed be your name

Thank you Lord for your faithfulness. I do not claim to understand why you choose you heal some and not others, but I can only say thank you for healing my Emma...

but even if you didn't I would still say:

"BLESSED BE YOUR NAME!"

Dearest, You and Tim (and indeed your whole family) are in training, every day, for a ministry of healing. Praising God for His blessings flowing in, around, through, to and from you, I rejoice and proclaim His goodness from everlasting to everlasting: HE IS GOD. He is OUR God. And we are HIS PLEASURE, His treasure, His delight. Loving you, remembering Grandpa Bailey who would pray for anyone the Lord laid on his heart, and always left the results up to His Master. Let us fight with praise on our lips, for He inhabits the praise of His people, always.

Words are so inadequate to say how awestruck we are at what God has done for Emma and you guys. Early last week I felt like God wanted me to do some spiritual warfare for Emma, and I definitely sensed a breakthrough in the spiritual realms afterwards. I know a lot of people love you guys very much and have been praying too. Though I don't by any means understand all there is about how/when God heals, as in Revelations God often seems to allow time for the cup of prayers to fill before pouring out his power. At least, that has been his usual pattern when he has healed us...

Speaking of, please keep praying for Debbie's full healing from Lyme's. She goes to the specialist in North Carolina for testing in mid-March...

Love you guys!
