"i saw the sign...i opened up my eyes, i saw the sign....oh....ahem....excuse me..." :)

Well, we finally did it. After a year & a half and nine different people on nine different occasions telling us to not wait to 'finish' the house, but to just "put the sign in the yard," we did it!
We suppose that it was our pride, not wanting to show the house in it's unfinished state, but who knows... all we know is that we truly feel that God is in control and everything is in HIS time.
We put the sign up 2 weeks ago tomorrow, and we have had about 15 calls, 6 appointments, and even one offer (the lady backed out after our counter-offer...not sure why...)! And that offer and one lady that is looking now were and are for CASH purchases! Works for me...
Tonight we even had a lady come back for a second look within a few hours.
Jim and Linda, our good friends and local realtors said that the response we are getting is remarkable for the area and for the market right now here in our town. We think it is just because our house has the "cute factor" that most cookie cutter homes are lacking. We also think it's because, again, He is in charge.
