Akin Ford comes through...
We got a call yesterday from Akin Ford and the lady said that they felt so bad about not having looked at the van yet (there are 6 vehicles ahead of ours for service, evidently) that she would get us a loaner even though they technically didn't have any available until the 18th. So I had a friend drive me to Winder to pick it up this morning. Thank you Lord.

We're still waiting for you to come by and pick up the loaner vehicle we spoke about over the phone. Sorry I haven't gotten back to you earlier about this, but we had a terrible commotion in town today when the restaurant next door to us reported a car stolen while it was waiting to be valet parked. They use our driveway as the drop-off point so customers won't have to contend with traffic, etc... Since nothing exciting ever happens around here, it kept us so busy that I forgot all about you! To top it all off, the car-jacker was a pregnant woman. Have you ever??? I'm glad you didn't show up when you said you would come by since it happened right around that time of day, and we sheer ran out of coffee for our customers because of all the cops swarming the place. I swear, those fellows seem like they're caffeine deprived ever since Dunkin Donuts closed down!
